Viewing platform in winter
The viewing platform enables you to enjoy even more views into the distance
Suspended at 70 meters above the abyss, the fan coral shaped viewing platform provides visitors with spectacular views of the breathtaking panorama.
All non skiers will find a beautiful winter hiking path, with about 1 km, leading directly from the top station of the gondola Steinplatte to the Panoramarestaurant Kammerkör and then past the Skiservice Station Mader trough a scenic snowy TriassicPark. And if you are lucky you might even discover some of our livesized dinoaurs under the snow.
Faint-hearted?
Not a problem - the varying floor levels allow visitors with vertigo or who are afraid of heights to enjoy the magical views.
The branches of the coral are absolutely opaque and provide a solid surface to stand on. A special highlight for big and small visitors alike!
The more daring visitors can take a walk across the roughly meshed grating between the coral branches or head on past them and dare a free view of the ground below trough the completely transparent glass surfaces.
