Winter hiking trail to the viewing platform

The walk-on viewing platform hovers almost 70 meters above the abyss. Shaped like a fan coral, it provides visitors with spectacular views down into the depths and breathtaking vistas.

For all non-skiers, a wonderful winter hiking trail, approx. 1 km long, leads directly from the mountain station of the Steinplatte gondola lift to the Kammerkör mountain inn and then past the Mader ski service station through the snow-covered Triassic Park. With a bit of luck, you might even spot some of our life-size dinosaurs under the snow.

TRIASSICPARK IN WINTER
Winter hikers enjoy fantastic views on the way to the viewing platform or the stalactite cave in the ski area ...
Suitable for everyone!
  • A wonderful winter hiking trail for non-skiers
  • No prior knowledge or special equipment required
  • Incredible panoramic views
  • Exciting for young and old
Weak nerves? No problem!

The different floor textures guarantee that even people who are not entirely free from giddiness can venture out without any problems: the branches of the coral are completely opaque and therefore provide a solid base. The more daring, on the other hand, walk over the coarse-meshed grating between the branches or even cross it and take a look through the completely transparent glass surfaces. The adrenaline level is guaranteed to skyrocket: to 1,600 m to be precise ...

On the way you can explore the stalactite cave and if you're lucky you might even spot some of our dinosaurs. Have fun!
